wow...

Not sure how I came across this one, but apparently, every major US and Middle East politician and most major celebrities are part of the same 'illuminati team' of the Devil. These 'unedited' photos clearly show they all make the Hand Sign of Satan. Wow! There are so many kooks out there. Gotta love 'em.

stuffwhitepeoplelike.com/

This is so funny! It's understanding white Americans for black Americans 101. But I'm white, and I like this blog.

Create a Sign a
Petition Petition

Ooh! This looks like fun. You can make any petition you want and post it on a UK government website. The US should have one of these! Calls itself a democracy. (Maybe it does??? don't think so...)

Lazy Jane

It's raining gray today, and has been all weekend. So I was inevitably reminded of this:

Lazy
Lazy
Lazy
Lazy
Lazy
Lazy
Jane.
She
wants
a
drink
of
water
so
she
waits
and
waits
and
waits
and
waits
and
waits
for
it
to
rain.

Space Invader II

You might be surprised to know I live in London. Surprised because I use American spelling (Well, we won the revolution, so we can do what we want with the language, even if I do live in the heart of darkest empire), and because my blog here gives the impression that I do most of my goofing off in front of the computer. But just because I've been limiting my discussion to the computer world, doesn't mean I don't do plenty of good old fashion goofing off in the streets, in pubs, and going to top-notch concerts, galleries, and lectures... So to the streets. I have this fantastic little bike (which is unfortunately suffering from a slow tire leak right now) I love to cruise a round on. One of my favorite place to do up is Old Street where I simply bask in hip. I am a big supporter of street art, and anything subversive that colo(u)rs up bleak urban decay and post-industrial landscapes. I was pretty entertained this series of mosaics:

This one on the Curtain Rd. I've also seen on Neal Street next to the Covent Garden tube, and there are plenty more where that came from all over the world at this point. Apparently this motif has become something of a phenomenon:

D.I.Y. Media

Rushkoff is brilliant.

Fuck the attention economy where they compete for your eyeball hours. Make your own media!

I like the idea of thinking of attention deficit disorder as an adaptive strategy, a reaction to a world where you a programed everywhere you look.

That's all I'll say about this, but I suggest giving it your minutes.
